Spencer Park Surf Life Saving Club is located on the beach amongst the popular recreational area of Spencer Park and Bottle Lake Forrest only 15-20 minutes drive from central Christchurch and is easily accessible by main road via the community of Spencerville. The clubhouse is adjacent to the Spencer Beach Holiday Park and picnic areas.

Spencer Park SLSC prides itself on providing highly skilled Surf Lifeguards who patrol the beach for the safety of the public. We also provide junior development for 7-13 years and senior surf sports programmes competing in many local and national surf life saving sport events. Surf sports offers many sporting opportunities and further enhances the skills required to be effective Surf Lifeguards.
